The staff of the Edwards Aquifer Habitat Conservation Plan (EAHCP) is responsible for the management and general oversight of the EAHCP program, under the direction of the Program Manager. The staff serves (1) to assist all Permittees, (2) provide the primary point of contact with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, (3) support all EAHCP Committees and work groups, and (4) perform a variety of other functions fitting with its role as the administrative core for the EAHCP program as determined by the Funding and Management Agreement, an interlocal contract established by the Parties to the Incidental Take Permit for the operation of the program.

The EAHCP calls for the implementation of a diverse and sizeable range of programs, ranging from Flow Protection Measures, to Conservation Measures, to Recovery Measures. Fulfilling this mandate requires a dedicated team (see organizational chart above) with specialized skill sets to keep the program running smoothly in accordance with the Plan and other applicable governing documents.
